Account Executive, Ultrasound Radiology (Pacific Northwest)

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As the General Imaging (GI) Ultrasound Account Executive, you will be responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for GI Ultrasound products, solutions, and services by calling on radiology and interventional customers in the designated territory. You will be a sales expert partnered closely with a Clinical Applications Specialist for your assigned products and are expected to be able to differentiate Samsung’s offerings and convey compelling value proposition to successfully close sales. You will partner with existing accounts including large, complex, strategic, or tactically important accounts.

JOB DESCRIPTION: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of the sales territory, product lines, and sales processes
  • Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations and presentations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on GI products in assigned territory
  • Building, fostering & maintaining collaborative relationships both internally & externally
  • Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive GI Ultrasound sales
  • Managing sales and maintaining after-sale customer relationships
  • Penetrating competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements
  • Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining our existing customer portfolio. Annual and quarterly achievement of multiple sales and revenue targets
  • Development of customer relationships and Key Opinion Leaders coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs
  • Partner with the Samsung Affiliated Community to develop a strategic approach for both individual and fleet opportunities as well as cross channel business

  • TRAVEL & TRADE SHOWS
  • Attend trade shows as required: in your territory, a major client is attending, major show requiring multiple reps, as requested by management
  • Maximize effectiveness of travel within territory to which you travel
  • Follow all company policies regarding travel, expenses, meetings, and meals

  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven sales success & experience managing a large, high volume, multi-state territory preferred
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Willing to travel overnight
  • Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record is mandatory, and background and drug testing (pre and post-employment) is required
  • Must be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to management

  • COMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLS
  • Experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • You must be comfortable with technology, be able to present using a laptop, tablet, or via the web
  • Must be able demonstrate proficiency with MS Office package, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome
  • Familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies and procedures is highly desirable

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
  • Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days
  • Regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather).
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time for multiple days
  • Interaction with x-ray devices; for this reason, strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation
  • The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus
