The Vice President, Marketing will spearhead the marketing strategy for our ERG business units across NA, EMEA, and APAC. This role is pivotal in driving demand generation efforts that contribute at least 40% of our pipeline through innovative, integrated marketing campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of data-driven campaign creation, marketing analytics, brand management, digital marketing, and public relations, coupled with exceptional storytelling and communication skills.

Scope:
This executive role is responsible for shaping and executing the overall marketing strategy for our GRC business units. The VP, Marketing will leverage market analysis and deep customer insights to craft strategies that drive pipeline growth, enhance brand awareness, and support bookings targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop the quarterly marketing plans aligned to business and bookings goals
  • Create an integrated marketing strategy across all functions of marketing including those like brand and PR that do not report directly to you
  • Establish clear ICPs, personas, value propositions, use cases, unique selling points, differentiators, and supporting data points

Demand Generation

  • Plan and execute data-driven, content-rich integrated marketing campaigns and events that drive 40%+ of the pipeline
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product management, to ensure campaigns are aligned with market needs and business goals and that all stakeholders have “skin in the game”
  • Provide training and enablement and communications on all campaigns to key stakeholders including the sales and marketing teams

Content Marketing

  • Create compelling narratives, quantifiable value propositions, educational content, thought leadership assets, battle cards, solution overviews etc. to feed the marketing engine, drive attractive prospects to our website, engage them and convert them to high intent leads
  • Ensure all content is aligned with the company’s brand messaging and overall value proposition

Marketing Performance

  • Drive every campaign and event decision using data and analytics to asses performance and pipeline impact
  • Create market agility to pivot as needed to adjust to market or client changes
  • Optimize budget based on campaign performance, ensuring maximum return on investment
  • Manage budget

Leadership and Communication

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team of 4 in a high energy matrixed organization
  • Create strong bonds and collaboration with internal stakeholders including the marketing team, product management, sales, and executive leadersip
  • Communicate strategic marketing insights and performance metrics effectively to executive leadership
  • Communicate the impact of marketing internally across the organization to build buzz and support

Qualifications:

  • University degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of marketing experience in progressive roles
  • 2+ years exposure and collaboration across all functional areas of marketing including brand, influencer, relations, Voice of Customer, Operations, Digital
  • 7+ years experience and track record in data-driven integrated industry or product marketing leveraging  a high digital IQ and outstanding content development and curation skills
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects
  • 5+ years experience working with NA and EMEA; APAC a plus

  • Empathy with prospects and customers that drives marketing CTAs
  • Data – driven content development and curation including educational content and thought leadership
  • Data – driven integrated marketing capaigns and events
  • High digital IQ across SEO, SEM, websites, ABM
