YOU ARE
A strategic marketing leader who knows how to elevate a brand, engage audiences, and drive measurable business growth. You’re a collaborative leader who can build and inspire a high-performing team, work cross-functionally, and ensure that WMT Digital’s brand and messaging are as innovative as the technology we provide. This role will be instrumental in building our brand, expanding our market share, and establishing us as the leader in the industry. The ideal candidate is a data-driven growth marketer with a proven track record of success in B2B SaaS marketing
YOUR IMPACT AND AREAS OF FOCUS:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy: This includes defining target audiences, crafting compelling messaging, and selecting the most effective marketing channels to reach and engage potential clients (sports teams, leagues, etc.).
- Lead generation and demand creation: Implement strategies to generate qualified leads and drive sales pipeline growth. This will involve a strong focus on digital marketing, content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media marketing, and event marketing.
- Growth marketing: Implement a data-driven approach to marketing, leveraging analytics to identify growth opportunities, optimize campaigns, and measure ROI. Experiment with new marketing channels and tactics to drive rapid growth.
- Brand building and positioning: Develop and execute brand-building initiatives to increase brand awareness, establish thought leadership, and position the company as the premier provider of fan engagement solutions.
- Sales enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing materials and tools that support the sales process.
- Content marketing strategy: Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content (blog posts, white papers, case studies, webinars, etc.) to educate the market and generate leads.
- Social media marketing: Develop and implement a social media strategy to engage with potential clients, build brand awareness, and drive traffic to our website.
- Public relations and media outreach: Manage relationships with media outlets and secure positive press coverage to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
- Reporting and analytics: Track key marketing metrics and provide regular reports on marketing performance to the executive team.
- Team leadership and management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Budget management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.
- Market research and competitive analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE…
- A strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. The leveling of this position will be commensurate with experience.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong expertise in demand generation,brand positioning, digital marketing, and content marketing.
- Experience working in sports, technology, or digital media industries is a plus.
- A track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
- Exceptional storytelling, messaging, and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive marketing decisions.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI.
