What You’ll Contribute

  • Apply your experience with Decision Management solutions and technologies as well as related credit risk management and analytic knowledge to support and grow FICO’s customer footprint of customer decision management solutions and related solutions.

  • Credibly critique business strategies across multiple decision contexts – limit exposure management, originations, collections, authorizations, pricing, marketing, account renewal – to devise comprehensive action plans to improve portfolio performance.

  • Design and create innovative solutions using existing FICO solutions to address complex business challenges and objectives with awareness of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements across the US and Canadian banking markets, with particular focus on unsecured financial products.

  • Apply expertise and knowledge with third-party card processing platforms to maximize application of FICO decision management solutions for customer management.

  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with customers, business partners, and internal work teams leveraging a deep understanding of the credit lifecycle and industry trends.

  • Discover, create, and execute new sales and service opportunities by collaborating with FICO customer relationship owners, and develop a unique understanding of the customers operating model, business processes, and market challenges.

  • Leverage a combination of deep credit risk industry expertise, awareness of customer business challenges, and portfolio of FICO solutions, craft and articulate multi-year solution roadmaps to senior (i.e., buyer) level personnel within the client organizations we support.

  • Guide the strategy use and application of credit scoring models across lending products as well as conduct and interpret the results of model validation analyses.

  • Lead ongoing customer innovation/business generation sessions, user group forums, and industry conference presentations from a position of thought leadership to advance FICOs business and success.


What We’re Seeking

  • Significant experience in financial services or related occupation.

  • A Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Math, Data Science, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or related field.

  • Use of and deep fluency in concepts related to adaptive decision management technologies, specifically Customer Management while working in the risk management and financial services industries.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements that govern lending and credit risk management in the US and Canadian markets.

  • Leading, guiding, or providing advisory services in the implementation of multi-year credit risk management vision with demonstrated skills for collaboration across multiple work teams.

  • Experience with data-driven strategies to target customer treatment based on multiple performance dimensions (credit risk, revenue contribution, etc.) using established analytic technologies and methods including logistic regression, CHAID Tree via SAS, SQL, Analytics Workbench, etc.

  • Experience working with credit risk scoring models and fluency in related concepts (adverse action notification requirements, model validation principles and statistical measures, etc.)

  • Travel up to 25%.
