Job purpose:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support data-driven decision-making for fundraising and donor retention campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics tools and methodologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Job Details:

  • Location: 100% Remote - Open to candidates based in Central America, Mexico, or Colombia.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CR Time Zone
  • Job Type: Full-Time Employment
  • Language Proficiency: Spanish: Advanced (Fluent) / English: C1 in reading, writing, and conversation
  • Availability: Immediate availability preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to extract actionable insights for marketing and fundraising campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor campaign performance, donor behavior, and key metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital strategy, media, and creative, to optimize campaign strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Perform predictive analysis to identify opportunities for donor retention and acquisition.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and quality checks.
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients in a clear and compelling manner.

Required Academic Background:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • over 3 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role. 
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio). 
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Marketo.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager for campaign analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • English proficiency: C1 level (mandatory)

Nice-to-Have:  

  • Familiarity with fundraising and donor management software (e.g., Blackbaud, Raiser's Edge).
  • Experience in a nonprofit or agency environment focused on fundraising or direct response marketing.
