We’re seeking a talented Medical Assistant with strong administrative skills to play a crucial role in our client’s small but mighty healthcare facility. Responsibilities
  • Manage and input resident information into our state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring utmost accuracy and strict HIPAA compliance
  • Take charge of setting up and maintaining our QuickBooks accounting system, including creating a comprehensive chart of accounts from scratch
  • Perform essential bookkeeping tasks, helping to keep our finances organized and up-to-date
  • Craft engaging monthly activity schedules and calendars for residents, enhancing their quality of life and social engagement
  • Provide crucial administrative support to keep our facility running like a well-oiled machine
  • Collaborate closely with our care team to ensure seamless communication and top-notch resident care
  • Adapt quickly to new technologies and processes, contributing to our culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Proven experience with EMR systems and healthcare data entry, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, including the ability to set up and manage new accounts
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment
  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of elderly or assisted living residents
  • Experience in healthcare settings is highly preferred, but candidates with strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn quickly will also be considered
  • Comfortable with remote work technology and able to maintain a professional home office setup
