As a part of the Enterprise Data Engineering & Enablement team, this role will be on the front edge of the new era of data enablement across the enterprise. 

The Sr Quality Assurance role will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations. This role initiates tests, analyzes results, troubleshoots systems and collaborates with teams to find solutions to technical problems. The Sr QA will work collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements. You will sometimes play the lead role for different initiatives while working with internal and external customers. This role will also cross train with other inter departmental tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the testing efforts for the migration of data pipelines, workflows, and systems into Databricks.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of large-scale data during the migration process, including validation of data transformations and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers and other team members to define and execute comprehensive test strategies for data migration.
• Perform end-to-end testing on data workflows, including validating data in Databricks, integrating with other Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, SQL Data Warehouse).
• Automate data validation tests, ensuring that data processing jobs run efficiently and meet performance expectations.
• Validate the scalability and performance of Spark jobs and Databricks clusters to handle large datasets.
• Ensure proper documentation of test cases, testing results, and findings, adhering to quality and process standards.
• Proactively identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization during the migration process.
