Zayo is seeking a Communications Technician 2B whose primary accountabilities include but are not limited to
Responsibilities:
Daily efficient monitoring and timely disconnecting variety of Circuits such as PRI, LD and other related activities.
Technical Tasks such as Design/Translation changes and removals.
Design Removal from Inventory System (s).
Arrange for Equipment Pick ups using latest Allstream tools and processes.
Monitoring System queues to insure orders are scheduled properly.
Handling various Disconnects related activities.
Utilizing different internal systems during Disco or Audit work such as ICMS, CAPPS, Neustar and others.
Other systems and tools that maybe utilized includes TEOCO, Sales Force, IBIS, ICC, NIMS, OTS, MSS, SharePoint, MS Office and others.
Working with inventory systems for different purposes such as removing Design and retrieving equipment information.
Administrative responsibilities such as submitting equipment pickup requests.
Telco Audit investigation and related work such as issuing Disco orders or Disputes.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to adapt quickly to new situations, and produce results in high pressure situations.
Requires a good understanding of Allstream internal processes.
Competent in Salesforce is an asset.
Good PC skills – especially working with Microsoft Office suite.
Good understanding of the internal and Vendor Disconnect process.
Knowledgeable in Allstream operational and other support systems such as: ICMS, CAPPS. Neustar, DMS Switch, CAPPS.
