Job description

This is a remote position.

Remote Admin/Case Manager 

Location: Remote (Preferred within CST ±2 hours)

Job Type: Full-time 8 AM - 6 PM Chicago time

The Role:

  • Candidate qualities preferred: Highly organized, detail-oriented
  • support our virtual pain management practice: involves both direct patient interaction and backend administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Coordination: Schedule appointments, manage referrals, verify insurance, and handle authorizations.
  • Medical Records Management: Maintain and organize patient records within our EHR system (Practice Fusion—training provided).
  • Administrative Support: Assist with document handling, communication, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Communication: Respond to patient inquiries via phone/email and interface with other healthcare providers as needed.


Requirements


  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experience in healthcare administration preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (Practice Fusion experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
