xScion is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of ServiceNow workflow and case management solutions for our public sector client. You will work closely with client stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure the effective deployment of ServiceNow features. Your expertise in ServiceNow platform functionality and public sector experience will be essential in driving successful outcomes.
As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, You Will:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions with public sector stakeholders to understand their business processes and needs related to ServiceNow workflow and case management.
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
- Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- ServiceNow Workflow & Case Management Configuration:
- Collaborate with ServiceNow developers to translate business requirements into effective workflow and case management configurations.
- Assist in the design and testing of ServiceNow workflows, forms, and reports.
- Ensure configurations adhere to public sector compliance and security standards.
- Process Documentation & Training:
- Create comprehensive process documentation, including process flows, user guides, and training materials.
- Conduct user training sessions to ensure successful adoption of ServiceNow solutions within the public sector enterprise.
- Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between client stakeholders, development teams, and project managers.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure project success.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate ServiceNow configurations and ensure they meet client requirements.
- Identify and document defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
To Be Successful, You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the public sector.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow platform implementation, specifically in workflow and case management.
- Strong understanding of public sector business processes and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer).
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
