Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Manager to join Edge’s core team, dedicated to ensuring our focus on empowering tutors. In this role, you will develop and maintain the product roadmap, oversee the lifecycle of new products designed to source, recruit, train, and manage our distributed team of online tutors. You will collaborate with developers and vendors to create scalable solutions that enhance our operations. Your responsibilities include translating business needs into technical requirements, integrating new products seamlessly, and making data-driven decisions to optimize functionality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sets the overall vision and direction of the product integration roadmap for different target users (Online teachers, B2B Clients, Internal users)
Conceptualize, launch, lead a vendor/freelance team and implement an effective product strategy that is in line with Edge Tutor’s business objectives.
Supervises the implementation of product management processes such as SAFe, Scrum, Agile, or similar nature
Manage our App/Web Developers to drive success and timely delivery of projects within budgetary constraints
Manage vendor relationships to drive success and completion rate of projects
Maintain an efficient cost base, both in terms of team structure, software, server, and other production costs

Qualifications

3–5 years of Product Management experience with successful tech products in education, e-commerce, marketing, or software development companies

Familiarity with Project Management Frameworks such as PMP, Prince, or Agile

Solid technical understanding and/or experience in software development

An empathetic approach to problem-solving and creative thinking with stakeholders, specifically, but not limited to customers and partners

Experience leading and managing a cross-functional product team to achieve business and product objects

Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail

Knowledgeable in using Jira, Product board, or similar tools

Experience in evaluating different applications like LMS, ATS, CRM, ERP

Strong understanding of SDKs, APIs, and other technology stack in building digital products

Strong technical knowledge of the following:

Javascript Frameworks, HTML, CSS, and related technologies
PHP/Laravel and related technologies
AWS
API Integration and Documentation
Data Integration
Formal training/certification in product owner/scrum master roles
Basic understanding of UX design principles
