About the Role:   The contract Marketing Manager, in alignment with the SVP Healthcare Canada, and with guidance from the Senior Director of Marketing, will be responsible for the overall development and execution of integrated marketing programs for a portfolio of Canadian B2B brands and events serving the healthcare markets to drive growth in media audience, event attendees, and advertiser/sponsorship leads. You will work with some of the preeminent brands in the industry such as Pharmacy Practice + Business, Profession Sante, Québec Pharmacie, The Medical Post, Pharmacy U, and any other relevant industry awards programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the overall marketing strategy for the EnsembleIQ’s Healthcare Group’s media and events, to ensure fulfillment of event, sales, and brand marketing objectives via a variety of marketing channels.

  • Closely partner with the Marketing Coordinator and Event Registration Specialist for marketing execution support of campaigns, initiatives and events.

  • Event & Award Marketing: Develop, execute, and manage marketing campaigns for multiple B2B events and awards across the Canadian healthcare market—driving interest, registration, attendance, nominations, and sponsorship leads throughout the event & award cycles; Working closely with the brand team and with Event Operations. 

  • Sales Marketing: Liaison with the sales team to understand marketing needs and gather details on what needs to be communicated. Contribute to campaigns and initiatives to drive brand/product awareness with customers, sponsors, and prospects—creating demand, nurturing interest, and generating qualified leads to increase the overall sales pipeline.

  • Brand Marketing: Develop the overarching brand marketing strategy to establish and communicate the value proposition of the brands within the portfolio—elevating the brands within the industry.

  • Marketing Analysis & Reporting: Measure, track and analyze the performance of campaigns and marketing activities, providing recommendations to adjust and optimize the marketing strategy for growth.

  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with other internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and quality execution of key marketing projects that span multiple brands and teams, including Editorial and Audience Development.
