The Role
Veeva Systems is seeking a highly organized and strategic Creative Operations Manager to drive efficiency and operational excellence within our growing in-house creative team. This role is instrumental in managing day-to-day creative operations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
As a key operational leader, you will streamline workflows, optimize processes, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to enhance the team’s efficiency. You will also serve as the Asana expert, leveraging the platform to prioritize initiatives, track progress, and improve overall project management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and is passionate about building scalable creative processes.
What You’ll DoOversee and manage the end-to-end creative production process, ensuring seamless execution from project intake to final delivery.Use project management tools (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com) as the central hub for tracking progress, assigning tasks, and meeting deadlines efficiently.Establish and refine best practices, workflows, and operational processes to improve efficiency within the creative team.Act as the bridge between the creative team and other business units, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and expectation management.Drive resource planning, capacity management, and budget tracking to optimize team workload and productivity.Monitor project performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for process improvements.Manage relationships with external vendors, freelancers, and creative partners when needed.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, advocating for the creative team’s needs while maintaining operational efficiency.Requirements5+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, or a similar leadership role within a SaaS company, in-house creative team, or agency.Expert-level proficiency in project management software (e.g. Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com), with hands-on experience implementing workflows, reporting, and team collaboration.Strong understanding of creative processes, including design, content creation, website, and multimedia production.Proven ability to manage complex creative projects with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a keen eye for identifying and improving inefficiencies.Experience with resource allocation, budgeting, and performance tracking for creative projects.Nice to HaveExperience working in the SaaS or technology industry, particularly within a fast-growing company.Familiarity with marketing and creative technology tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Analytics).Graphic design background, passion for design, and/or hands-on experience with designing marketing collateral.PMP or project management certification.Passion for creative excellence and team empowerment.Familiarity with Google Workspace (G Suite) for collaboration and documentationPerks & BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and basic life insuranceFlexible PTO and company paid holidaysRetirement programs1% charitable giving programCompensationBase pay: $75,000 - $135,000The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
