Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Privacy Officer to join our Legal team. The successful candidate will oversee all data protection and privacy-related activities, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and implement best practices in data management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and procedures in line with local and international data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR);
  • Conducting regular privacy risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions;
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on privacy-related matters to internal stakeholders and ensuring that all company activities comply with data protection laws;
  • Managing data breach incidents, conducting investigations, and coordinating responses to mitigate risks and comply with regulatory requirements;
  • Collaborating with IT and security teams to ensure data protection measures are integrated into all systems and processes;
  • Delivering training and awareness programs to employees on data protection and privacy best practices;
  • Monitoring changes in privacy laws and regulations and updating company policies accordingly;
  • Reviewing and advising on precise communication with local regulatory bodies.


Key Requirements

  • Degree in Law, Information Security, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a privacy, data protection, or compliance role, preferably within a legal or IT environment;
  • In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex privacy issues and develop practical solutions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable;
  • Proven ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
