Are you passionate about driving sales efficiency, optimizing processes, and using data to unlock growth? We’re looking for a Director of Sales Operations to lead and elevate our sales organization. This role is an exciting opportunity to build a world-class sales operations team with autonomy, and design and optimize our processes. In this role, you’ll be the strategic partner to the CRO, Sales Leaders, and Marketing team, ensuring that our sales strategy, technology, and operations work together seamlessly to maximize revenue.

This role involves overseeing sales strategy, process optimization, analytics, technology implementation, and cross-functional alignment to maximize revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, analytics, and business process improvement.

This role requires a deep understanding of sales operations, marketing automation, and customer lifecycle management, as well as deep knowledge of Salesforce and other sales systems tools that can be leveraged to maximize sales operations.

What You'll Do

  • Develop & Optimize Sales Strategies - Design and implement scalable sale operations strategies that enhance sales team productivity and performance.
  • Streamline Processes & Drive Efficiency - Improve sales workflows, forecasting, and planning to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Lead with Data & Insights - Analyze sales metrics to uncover trends, provide actionable insights, and drive performance improvements.
  • Manage Sales Tech Stack - Own and enhance Salesforce (Sales & Service Cloud) and other key sales tools.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally and with ECI Executives - Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Finance, Marketing, and be a strategic partner to the CRO to establish achievable sales targets and maximize cross-sell.
  • Compensation & Territory Management - Oversee sales compensation plans, quota tracking, and territory alignment to drive motivation and results.
  • Sales Performance & Accountability - Track KPIs, establish best practices, and ensure sales teams effectively use tools and dashboards.
  • Lead, Mentor, Develop, & Build a High-Performing Team - Develop and scale a small but mighty sales operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales operations, strategy, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with Deal Desk, Order Management, lead scoring, Opportunity, and account management best practices.
  • Salesforce Expert in both Sales & Service Cloud, and understands best practices as it related to sales operations and processes.
  • A data-driven, problem-solving approach with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to work well in a matrixed environment.
  • A hands-on leadership style - this role isn't for delegators; we need a doer who leads by example.
  • Proven experience with other sales & marketing platforms (e.g., ZoomInfo, outreach.io, Clari, Gong, etc.).
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or CRMA is preferred.
  • Experience in implementing Pipeline Management best practices and Sales Forecasting processes and improvements
  • Experience in implementing Account Management best practices, including tools and processes to maximize sales output, retention, & customer satisfaction
  • Experience in managing sales processes, compensation structures, and performance metrics.
  • Understanding of Contract & Renewal Management best practices.
  • Understanding of Task & Internal Case applications to improve workflows and escalation efficiency.
  • Ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and implement best practices.
