This is your job:

  • Administer, manage, and optimize Oracle and MS SQL Server.
  • Configure, and maintain Oracle Exadata systems.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, and MariaDB databases.
  • Maintain high availability database solutions, including clustering, replication, and failover strategies.
  • Develop and execute shell scripts and command-line utilities for automation and administration tasks.
  • Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
  • Ensure security, backup, and recovery best practices are followed across all database platforms.
  • Utilize support-related tools (e.g., Putty) for remote database administration and troubleshooting.
  • Perform database upgrades and patches as required.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to support database-driven applications.
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing.


Your qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Oracle and MS SQL Database Administrator, with at least 2 years of experience managing Oracle Exadata environments.
  • Expertise with other Databases like PostgreSQL and MariaDB.
  • Strong understanding of high availability solutions (e.g., clustering, replication, load balancing).
  • Proficiency in command-line/shell scripting for database automation.
  • Hands-on experience with database performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of database security best practices and disaster recovery planning.
  • Familiarity with remote administration tools (e.g., Putty) for database management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid certifications are considered as an advantage:
  • Oracle Database Administration
  • Oracle Exadata Database
  • Microsoft Certified: Database Administrator Associate
  • Excellent English language skills.
