Director of Content

As we continue our rapid expansion, we are now looking for a Director of Content to join us on a permanent basis and make an instant impact.
The Role
You will be responsible for designing and executing a content strategy that attracts, engages, and converts both PLG and enterprise leads. You’ll lead a team of talented content professionals (technical writers, editors, and content creators) to produce high-quality, data-driven content that supports our SEO goals, demand generation efforts, and brand positioning. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic vision, hands-on execution, and team leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.
Content Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy tailored to driving PLG, SMB and enterprise leads.
- Create content roadmaps aligned with SEO goals and lead-generation targets.
- Produce diverse content formats including blogs, e-books, infographics, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and more.
- Leverage data and advanced analytics to optimize content performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
SEO & Organic Growth
- Lead efforts to drive organic traffic through exceptional SEO strategies, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute content campaigns that rank for competitive keywords and bring in high-intent traffic.
- Monitor and report on key SEO metrics, ensuring consistent improvement in rankings, traffic, and conversions.
PLG Content Development
- Develop content that educates users, showcases product value, and drives self-service signups and trials.
- Partner with the product and growth teams to create in-app and educational content that enhances the user journey.
- Focus on creating actionable, user-focused resources such as how-to guides, explainer videos and FAQs.
Enterprise-Focused Content
- Support the sales team with high-impact content assets tailored to enterprise buyers, such as thought leadership articles, industry reports, and ROI calculators.
- Collaborate with demand generation teams to create gated content for lead capture and nurturing.
- Build a library of sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, case studies, and product sheets.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of content professionals, including technical writers, editors, and other creators.
- Provide editorial direction, feedback, and coaching to ensure high-quality, on-brand content.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging experimentation and creativity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align content efforts with business goals.
- Coordinate with designers to develop visually engaging content such as infographics, e-books, and reports.
- Partner with external agencies or freelancers when necessary to scale content production.
The Person
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, with a strong focus on SaaS or B2B.
- Demonstrated success in SEO-driven content strategies, including keyword research, competitive analysis, and ranking optimization.
- Experience creating content for product-led growth (PLG) strategies, as well as traditional enterprise lead generation processes.
- Proven ability to manage and scale content teams, including writers, editors, and designers.
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills with a deep understanding of audience segmentation and content targeting.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, HubSpot, WordPress, and content management systems.
- Strong understanding of content performance metrics and the ability to report on ROI and business impact.
- Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content.
- Experience with creating a variety of content formats, including e-books, infographics, blogs, whitepapers, webinars, and videos.
- English Language. We are an English speaking first organisation and need you to be comfortable conversing in English
