About the Role

This role is a prominent role in the region and works with the Regional Consulting Lead, Partners, and Senior Managers to cultivate and lead on the delivery of client engagements and client development initiatives. Our Principals bring industry expertise, provide thought leadership, and serve as trusted advisors to clients. You’ll act as the procurement function lead within the Americas, responsible for driving new business development and strengthen existing client relationships, through consulting engagements with our clients.


In the Principal role, you’ll be accountable for:

  • Driving sales and the achievement of regional consulting targets within the procurement sector
  • Leading engagements with clients for all TGP solutions relating to procurement
  • Leading the delivery of TGP training courses, workshops, consulting projects or other elements of the full portfolio on client engagements
  • Identifying opportunities for additional client work and working with Partners, Associate Partners, or Senior Managers to build the proposal into an engagement
  • Managing an assigned portfolio of clients and their associated revenue targets, client development and business development
  • Contributing, developing, and responding to client proposals to sell procurement-related negotiation projects
  • Having client utilization of 40%
  • Contributing to TGP’s collateral through writing insights, creating assets, or developing new ways of working that will aid people throughout TGP
  • Accountable for a significant role as either a Global Excellence champion or in playing a key role in growing allocation, sector, or specialism


About You:

  • A procurement specialist, with deep knowledge in this space, gained within both client roles and external consulting positions
  • Background in constructing complex engagement approaches
  • Have led multiple concurrent projects acting as a project lead
  • Great at developing new business, spotting opportunities to grow existing clients and or bring new clients to the TGP brand
  • Be able to develop relationships and manager Senior Executive & C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong PowerPoint/ pitch deck building experience
  • Enjoy coaching, mentoring and supporting others through their development
