Introduction:

The Director, MR & Consultancy, will fully manage the sales process from outreach to close and drive sales/adoption of our many technology offerings/solutions. We are looking for someone who can hunt out and close new opportunities while managing and expanding existing relationships.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive prospecting efforts to win business from new/prospective clients and drive deeper client relationships.
  • Manage existing client base and hunt for expansion opportunities within existing business.
  • Develop & help maintain client relationships by conducting regular proactive contact with both in person and virtual meetings.
  • Attend market research conferences to prospect for new business and meet with existing clients.
  • Must be perceived by the client as an expert in understanding their digital solutions needs.
  • Build a sales territory to uncover new business opportunities within the client-base.
  • Provide smooth transition of project specifications to the sales support team through effective internal communications and proper client profile documentation.
  • Educate potential clients about digital solutions and Toluna.
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations and solutions demonstrations, write proposals, and provide bids to clients.
  • Keep a pulse on the progress of projects and follow up with clients in an effort to develop ongoing relationships and win repeat business.


Your Profile:

  • Must have 3+ years of sales experience within the market research industry (selling sample, full service and digital).
  • Experience managing the relationships of high-revenue, top global MR clients.
  • Proven track record of closing large global opportunities.
  • Ability to prepare high-level, targeted Toluna solution decks that outline individual client needs and interests.
  • Ability to communicate Toluna’s offerings and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to consult and advise clients by suggesting methodologies and Toluna solutions to supply and achieve the gainful insights clients require.
  • Experience providing well-constructed proposals outlining solutions, options, and costs.
  • Must be able to outline project fielding times clearly with clients without direction from management and operational input, while striving to meet client timelines.
  • Experience working with supply and project team leads in successfully fielding your clients’ projects.
