At Haven Energy, we’re on a mission to accelerate the adoption of clean energy technologies by helping homeowners install solar and battery systems. We specialize in deploying solar and battery systems to build VPPs through strategic partnerships with utilities, non-profits, and government agencies, with a particular focus on low and moderate income households. As a growing startup, we’re looking for dynamic, driven professionals who want to make a real impact in the clean energy space.

Summary of Role:

Haven is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product for the company. You will own the strategy, roadmap, prioritization and delivery of Haven’s digital offering to homeowners, installers, partners and internal users. You will develop a deep understanding of each persona and continuously work to enhance their overall experience with our company. As a member of an early stage startup, you’ll be hands-on in prioritizing, planning and executing the build of our first digital experiences and their evolution and growth as the company expands.

What you’ll do

• Develop a deep understanding of the needs, pain points, and workflows of our three key user groups – homeowners, install partners, and internal teams – through direct conversations, user research, and data analysis.
• Translate user insights into clear, actionable product requirements that balance usability, feasibility, and business impact.
• Collaborate with designers, content writers, engineers, and QA to scope projects and estimate timelines
• Own and continuously refine a product roadmap that aligns with company priorities
• Define and monitor success metrics
• Work cross-functionally to validate requirements, ensure smooth product launches, and drive adoption
• Conduct competitive analysis and maintain current information regarding competitive activity.

You’re a great fit if you have

• 5 - 10 years of experience working as a product manager in a startup environment
• Ability to deliver a project end-to-end, from concept to the finish line, managing all aspects throughout
• Proven experience driving short and long term product strategy and securing cross-functional buy-in.
• Superior attention to details (while keeping an eye on the big picture) and an enthusiasm for delighting users
• Ability to make careful, data-driven decisions, and are comfortable with data analytics tools
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers in research, engineering, and product marketing
• Exceptional written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate to non-technical and technical audiences with ease
• Previous experience with complex consumer-facing industries and user experience design challenges (e.g. insurance, finance, healthcare, security, energy/utilities)
• Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
• Passion for understanding and impacting how energy is produced and consumed
