The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating and optimizing content to enhance marketing performance through SEO, social media, and lead generation efforts. This includes developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that drive traffic and engagement, conducting keyword research, writing and optimizing web, blog, and social media content, and managing content calendars. Additionally, the specialist will analyze performance metrics to refine content strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with broader marketing goals, and implement SEO best practices to ensure high search engine rankings and increased visibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute content strategies that drive organic traffic and lead generation. Write original content for webpages, blogs, and social media, optimize copy and landing pages, and conduct keyword research.
  • SEO Optimization: Ensure primary product sites and any related sites are fully optimized for organic search performance. Perform technical audits, monitor site performance, and implement SEO best practices.
  • Lead Generation: Create content tailored for lead generation and lead nurturing, including white papers, case studies, email campaigns, video scripts, press releases, and landing pages that drive conversions and support sales efforts.
  • Email: Support the planning and drafting of email nurturing campaigns leveraging content library and landing pages.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, manage SEO campaigns, and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Social Media: Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Create and schedule posts, manage social media accounts, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Link Building: Engage with other businesses for link-building opportunities to improve domain authority and search engine rankings.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights to increase target traffic, and enhance organic and paid search conversions. Utilize tools like Google Analytics, WebCEO, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve search engine rankings, user experience, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Research and Knowledge Management: Independently conduct internal stakeholder interviews and review available materials such as sales tools to inform content strategies. Conduct competitor and industry research. Maintain key findings in an organized repository.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in content marketing, SEO, and social media - ability to create a high volume of short and long form content
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an ability to create engaging and optimized content
  • Demonstrated experience writing B2B SaaS product content for a wide range of industries
  • Indepth knowledge of Google Search Console and SEO best practices
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, WebCEO, SEMrush
  • Experience with PPC campaign management
  • Proven experience writing high performing lead generating content
  • Experience creating and optimizing landing pages
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have:

  • Hands-on experience with Hubspot - creating email campaigns, landing pages, workflows, reports.
  • Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
