Job description

About Us

We are a discreet, entrepreneurial family office. Our mission is to catalyze human flourishing through stewardship. We are grounded in timeless morals, and seek to preserve and grow our investors' capital as well as our own. We invest primarily in real estate, but additionally have allocations to tech, energy, and alternatives. We have a downside-protected, long-term investment approach.

Our mission extends beyond financial outcomes: we seek to foster flourishing families, create enduring trust, and contribute to a more beautiful world through our investments.

We are now looking for a zealous, mission-driven Director of Capital Markets to lead our capital-raising efforts, representing our family office with integrity and passion.

This is a rare opportunity for a top-tier professional to make a profound impact by serving investors as a steward of capital, ensuring their financial goals align with meaningful, lasting value.

The Opportunity

The Director of Capital Markets will lead equity capital-raising activities to support our acquisition strategies, targeting ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and family offices. This role combines the art of capital raising with the heart of stewardship, appealing to those who are both entrepreneurial and mission-driven.

This role does not involve raising JV LP capital from private equity groups, institutional investors, or RIAs. Instead, it is designed for a strategic, high-caliber professional with a proven ability to cultivate deep investor relationships, structure compelling investment opportunities, and secure capital commitments from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other investors deploying their own funds.

This Individual Will

  • Play a critical role in shaping relationships with investors, ensuring their capital is invested with care and purpose.
  • Work directly with the executive team to secure equity from like-minded families and institutions who value trust and long-term returns.
  • Serve as a missionary for our vision, passionately connecting investors with downside-protected opportunities that enrich their lives.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising Leadership

  • Develop and execute strategies to raise equity from UHNWIs and family offices, leveraging your established network.
  • Personally cultivate and close investor relationships, acting as the face of the family office to the investment community.
  • Maintain the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and alignment with the family office’s values.

Investor Engagement and Stewardship

  • Serve as a trusted steward of capital, ensuring all investments align with the family office’s mission to protect and grow wealth over the long term.
  • Build enduring relationships by understanding investors’ needs and providing them with downside-protected opportunities that align with their goals.
  • Represent the family office at investor meetings, conferences, and select events, articulating the mission and strategy with clarity and passion.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Work closely with the executive team to identify and structure investment opportunities.
  • Partner with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies, reinforcing trust and reliability.
  • Create world-class investor materials, including pitch decks, offering memoranda, and performance updates.

Mission-Driven Leadership

  • Act as a missionary ambassador for the family office’s vision, connecting investors with opportunities that reflect our commitment to a flourishing humanity.
  • Advocate for the family office’s values of stewardship, trust, and long-term impact in all engagements.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, roadshows, and private events.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 7-12 years of experience in capital raising, with a track record of securing $50M+ in equity, ideally for multifamily real estate investment.
  • Demonstrated success raising significant equity from UHNWIs and family offices, with a proven track record of trust and strong existing network.

Skills

  • Top-notch pedigree and deep industry network, with the ability to connect and build relationships with discerning investors.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the gravitas to instill confidence and trust.
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment strategies, private equity structures, and Family Office investor dynamics.

Mindset

  • Missionary zeal for investor stewardship and advancing the family office’s vision of catalyzing human flourishing.
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Committed to long-term relationships and meaningful impact.
