What you’ll be doing
As the Policy Manager, you will:
Analyse and monitor policy developments at Commonwealth, state, and territory levels, assessing their impact on workforce planning and skills development.
Develop high-quality policy submissions, briefs, and position papers to advocate for effective workforce strategies in the energy sector.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, Jobs and Skills Councils, and industry bodies, to drive meaningful policy change.
Align policy recommendations with broader workforce planning objectives, addressing skills gaps and supporting workforce transitions.
Provide expert advice on workforce policy, contributing to ministerial briefings, industry forums, and strategic planning efforts.
Foster key relationships with government bodies and industry stakeholders to strengthen policy influence.

What we’re looking for To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
