Overview

  • This position is Remote. Candidates must reside in California.**

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The department processes invoices, payment requests, and expense reimbursements. Reviews and reconciles supplier statement of accounts for accuracy and completeness. The Accounts Payable Representative II will monitor and review payments issued to outside vendors and hospital employees. Investigate and resolve problems regarding credits, penalties, questions on invoices, etc. with suppliers, buyers, and CHLA division/departments. Prepares standard journal entries to reclassify account distributions and to accrue for outstanding invoices.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Minimum of 2+ years Accounts Payable experience with a large organization or 3+ years of other accounting related experience required. Experience processing invoices and reconciling statement of accounts. Must have great customer service skills. Healthcare experience preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively and be detail oriented. Willing to roll up their sleeves to research problems and determine effective solutions. Must also be good at reviewing and analyzing data to ensure transactions are processed accurately.

Education/Licensure/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay Scale Information

$38,272.00-$65,062.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
