Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Program Manager, Technology Systems is responsible for overseeing and integrating technology and program management initiatives across Research Finance in collaboration with Information Services. This role involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects, addressing operational needs, and implementing innovative solutions for ERP systems and other technology platforms to support organizational goals. The Program Manager will act as a central point of contact for program-related issues and lead process improvements, system enhancements, and end-user training with minimal supervision. Our team is dedicated to maximizing extramural expense recovery and reimbursement through strategic process improvements, reconciliations, internal audits, and strict enforcement of suspense accounting guidelines. The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing ERP processes within research and serving as a liaison across the organization to ensure seamless integration and coordination of workflows. The Program Manager's key responsibilities include managing extensive testing efforts, troubleshooting system issues, and driving the development and implementation of enhancements and fixes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to navigate resistance to change while implementing new processes and system enhancements. This individual must possess a high level of problem-solving ability, resilience, and relationship-building skills. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize ERP processes within research finance, grants management, and compliance.
- Serve as a liaison across the organization to ensure seamless integration and coordination of workflows.
- Manage extensive testing efforts and troubleshoot system issues.
- Drive the development and implementation of enhancements and fixes.
- Coordinate complex initiatives and oversee testing and troubleshooting efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align workflows.
- Translate technical details for non-technical users and facilitate discussions across research, IT, and finance.
- Evaluate processes, ensure compliance with federal and institutional regulations, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop clear documentation and training materials to support end-users and ensure long-term sustainability of process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in program or technology management.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, particularly in research finance, grants management, and compliance.
- Expertise in process improvement and system optimization.
- Project management skills to coordinate complex initiatives.
- Effective stakeholder communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or related field required. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Pay Scale Information
$89,440.00 - $160,992.00
