About The Opportunity

DMI (Digital Management, LLC) seeks a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team. This role will focus on accurate payroll processing, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, and providing support for timekeeping systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for multiple companies using UKG systems.
  • Manage and import payroll data into UKG and oversee new jurisdiction registrations.
  • Conduct pre-payroll analysis, including timesheet reviews and updates in CostPoint Time and Expense module.
  • Review and verify employee hours for accuracy, ensuring that data generated in Connect Team is accurately converted in DOMO and successfully imported into CostPoint.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll (e.g., paychecks, W-2s, bonus payments).
  • Administer payroll maintenance tasks, such as paid time off (PTO) setup and eligibility.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports across systems, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Process and reconcile direct deposits, tax forms, ACH corrections, and manual checks.
  • Ensure compliance with garnishment calculations and related regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to address payroll issues and implement improvements.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required; additional education or certification in accounting/payroll preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
    • 2+ years working with UKG.
    • Experience with CostPoint Time and Expense module is essential.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations and best practices.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Highly organized, with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
    • Strong communication skills to engage effectively across all management levels.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
