Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • We are looking for an District Sales Manager who will be responsible for the development and coordination of all sales activities for the Gates' brand in the Industrial First Fit "Direct' sales channel for some of Gates pioneering industrial segments for selling all Fluid Power and Power Transmission Products
  • You will be responsible for selling Gates' products in a geographical area. Research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner to determine market strategies and goals for each product and service. Take responsibility for and making every effort to resolve communication, trust and respect concerns and problems. Implement strategies to accelerate growth of new and additional products and/or new markets. Monitor competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to address competition. Has primary accountability for the performance and revenue results in a geographical area and additional accountability for strategic initiatives; manages established accounts in a specified geographic area.
  • As a proactive member of the team, you will contribute to the Tactical Plan Development by identifying and integrating sales opportunities and issues into the overall Gates EMEA Strategic Plan.
  • Thanks to your technical and communication skills, you will ensure a presence on the field with our current and future customers in order to ensure their satisfaction and increase market share.
  • Your assigned geographic scope encompasses France, where you will be responsible for overseeing the sales of our complete product range, encompassing both Fluid Power and Power Transmission Products.

Requirements And Preferred Skills

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business or Marketing required and at least 5 years' Industrial experience in a relevant function
  • Understanding of technical OEM sales processes.
  • Knowledge of Fluid Power or Power Transmission products is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales to meet & exceed growth revenue targets.
  • Exhibits dynamism, proactivity, and autonomy in approach.
  • Working remotely from anywhere in France and ready to travel about 60% of the time
  • Fluent in French and English
