Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the executive and development teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure data availability for analysis and decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to design and implement efficient data pipelines, ensuring seamless data extraction and accessibility for analysis.
  • Continuously explore and identify new data sources, trends, and insights that can improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Analyze complex data sets, providing actionable insights to optimize business operations.
  • Create reports and visualizations that communicate data findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Continuously refine data processes to support business goals and enhance the speed and quality of execution within the organization.
  • Maintain a feedback loop with executive teams and developers to ensure data requirements evolve in line with business priorities.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in data science or related field.
  • Familiarity with MGA or Carrier processes and/ or operations is a requirement.
  • Proficient in statistical modeling, data mining, and analysis tools.
  • Strong experience with data cleaning, transformation, and analysis to ensure high-quality data is used for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with executive teams, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive mindset and ability to anticipate data needs before they arise.
  • Must reside and be authorized to work in Canada.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 CAD per year

The compensation range reflects a data-driven estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment. Individual pay may vary based on geographic location, job related skills, knowledge, experience, education etc.
