We have need for two Data Engineers to join our team for HR/Finance projects.
This role is essential for ensuring the timely ingestion and transformation of complex data, providing crucial business insights, and supporting our data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
Data Ingestion: Ingest data from various sources into Snowflake.
UDM Creation: Develop User-Defined Measures (UDMs) to support Snowflake.
Reporting Solutions: Create and maintain reporting views to support various reporting solutions.
Collaborative EFForts: Work with limited direction, collaborating with other departments to understand business requirements and address complex financial and HR data problems.
Optimization: Write e icient and, at times, complex SQL queries to optimize data processing and reporting.
Experience and knowledge
Experience: Expert-level experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
SQL Proficiency: Proficient in writing e icient and complex SQL queries.
Snowflake: Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business problems related to HR and Finance data.
Independence: Ability to work independently with limited information and direction.
Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate e ectively with various stakeholders.
Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior data engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
