Your Mission

  • Participation in development, introduction, and continuous further development of Internal Controls in finance processes
  • Participate to the assessment and update of Internal Controls descriptions to meet the company’s standards as per policies and procedures.
  • Create/ update procedures for finance processes in line with Internal Controls definitions.
  • Tester of various Internal Controls
  • Implement analytics for Internal Controls overview and sampling.
  • Rolling out Internal Controls concept to Walter companies
  • Owner of process design, measures, master data and performance, globally
  • Support in decision making of overall process design under guidance of the Process Sponsor
  • Optimization of finance efficiency by enhancing processes, including systems’ functionality and features
  • Manage process improvement activities, ensure training and execution.
  • Identify needs for improvement from both business and finance efficiency perspective and make recommendations for changes.
  • Proposal and participation in implementation of segregation of duties in financial processes
  • Active member of the global Walter Finance team

Your Profile

  • Study of Economics, Business Administration or comparable
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in Finance/Global Processes/Audit/ Internal Controls environment with international exposure
  • Easy switch between analytical and sinthethyc approach, detail oriented and global overviewer
  • Good general accounting (IFRS) knowledge
  • Good/some experience with Internal Controls and/or Audit field
  • Good SAP S4/HANA knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Communication and persuasion skills, customer focus, strong desire to learn and develop new skills and capabilities.
  • Strong argumentative mind with focus on risk/cost versus benefits
  • Willing to work mostly remotely with diverse teams and individuals, considering cultural differences and business specificities.
