As a Virtual Territory Manager, you will oversee a designated territory of agent relationships. This role focuses on driving new business written premium and new business count by leveraging relationships and executing strategic business plans. The Virtual Territory Manager will travel as needed for agent engagement, conferences, and events. Proficiency with tech tools like DriveTrain and Salesforce, along with a deep understanding of our underwriting and appetite, is essential for success in this role.

What you’ll do
- Territory Management: Manage a territory consisting of agent relationships, focusing on growth and retention.
- New Business Development: Drive new business written premium and new business count, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Relationship Building: Utilize partner leaders for relationship laddering opportunities within National Partnerships to expand business reach and increase sales.
- Territory Business Plans: Develop and implement comprehensive business plans for the territory, aligning with company objectives.
- Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations to individual partners and large groups to promote products and services.
- Travel: Travel to territories several times per year for agent engagement, conferences, and events to build and maintain relationships.
- Engage Agents: Actively engage with agents to provide support, training, and resources to assist in placing business with Hagerty.
- Tech Utilization: Utilize tools such as DriveTrain and Salesforce to manage relationships, track performance, analyze data, and work opportunity pipeline.
- Underwriting Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our underwriting guidelines and appetite to effectively support agents.
- Collaboration: Work closely with partner leaders, regional team members, and product managers to drive sales results.
- Performance Analysis: Collect and analyze data to monitor territory performance, adjusting as needed to achieve goals.
- Reporting: Generate detailed reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and market trends for senior leadership.

- This role can be worked from any U.S. remote location.
- Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
