This key leadership role is in a high-growth, high-profit portfolio company of big thinkers and big doers. It is a CPG/beverage/dietary supplement company with a history of strong, profitable growth as the number one product and brand in its emerging category. Through its expanding sales and distribution network, the team is positioned to scale existing and new products globally, driving exponential revenue growth. With the leadership team in place, the opportunity is now to execute a scalable retail expansion strategy, optimize sales execution, and maximize category leadership on the path to a lucrative exit.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As Vice President of Finance, you will play a critical role in driving revenue and profitability while securing funding to support the company's aggressive expansion and exit strategy. You will scale financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management while ensuring strong financial controls are in place.


This role requires a strategic, hands-on finance leader who thrives in a high-growth environment. As the company scales, you will track and manage financial performance with precision to maintain industry-leading profitability. A key focus will be optimizing the tenfold increase in the marketing budget, ensuring maximum return on investment. You will oversee financial reporting, AI-driven automation, and capital structuring to support exit readiness.


Success in this role requires experience in US DSD, convenience chains, and DTC channels. You will lead financial optimization across these areas, aggressively measuring and improving returns on marketing spend. With strong analytical skills and leadership, you will drive value growth while maintaining high operating profit.

Job Requirements



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a part of and co lead with executive, business unit level strategic planning.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to drive profitable growth and ensure a strong financial foundation.
  • Implement real-time ROI tracking systems across sales, marketing, and key investments, ensuring data-driven financial decisions.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies that optimize EBITDA and create a scalable, self-funded commercial model.
  • Ensure financial controls, compliance, and regulatory adherence across all corporate, tax, and audit functions.
  • Finalize and implement performance-based incentive and commission plans that align with business growth objectives.
  • Secure manage and scale bank lines of credit to over operating capital and support growth Lead exit preparation efforts, including completing financial audits, due diligence, and transaction readiness for a potential sale, secondary offering, or capital raise.
  • Implement AI-driven automation to improve financial processes and reduce G&A costs by 20% in the short term and 80% in the long term.
  • Work with executive leadership to ensure financial reporting is completed accurately and on time, aligning with businesses operating financial structure.
  • Drive monthly financial reviews with a 10-point financial analysis of the P&L to inform executive decision-making.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 8+ years of finance leadership experience, with 3+ years in a senior finance role within high-growth CPG, consumer goods, or retail industries.
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue from $50M to $250M+ while optimizing profitability and EBITDA growth.
  • Strong ability to analyze commercial investments and marketing ROI, ensuring profitability-driven financial decision-making with previous track record of supporting successful spend and scale with 20-100M marketing and sales budget .
  • Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and corporate structuring, with expertise in FP&A, cash flow management, and investment strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with financial reporting, audits, and due diligence to prepare for M&A, exits, or capital raises.
  • Experience working with first-generation entrepreneurs and visionary leaders in fast-growth environments.
  • Knowledge of U.S. financial regulations, tax planning, and compliance requirements, particularly in regulated industries (alcohol, beverage, cannabis, pharmaceutical, dietary supplements).
  • Experience leading financial automation and ERP implementation, optimizing processes for scalability and efficiency.
  • Experience working with banks and securing and managing a LOC and debt financing in the 5M+ range


COMPENSATION:

An aggressive base salary will be provided in this position, with an additional lucrative bonus plan based on performance. In this role you will contribute directly to a highly lucrative exit and will be rewarded generously as a result. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this roll.
