As a Procurement Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting purchasing activities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with policies and procedures. You will analyze data, monitor inventory, and address supply chain challenges while working closely with vendors and internal teams.


What You'll Do:

  • Provide daily procurement support, managing vendor relations and maintaining accurate data records.
  • Process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and track inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Assist in preparing procurement budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Analyze large datasets, compile reports, and support decision-making with actionable insights.
  • Maintain contract compliance by managing vendor agreements, pricing, and reporting.
  • Conduct market research to assess pricing trends and new supplier options.
  • Support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring procurement procedures align with company policies.
  • Coordinate product sampling, including logistics and scheduling.
  • Develop and distribute RFPs/RFIs and collect relevant data for internal stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of procurement responsibilities, ensuring high-quality performance and trust with internal teams.


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience, preferably in food service distribution.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and business judgment to support company objectives.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Advanced level required); familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to travel within the U.S. and Canada as needed.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a TSA or FAA background check as required.
