RESPONSABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to provide direction/support, streamline processes, gain efficiencies, and enhance the overall user experience.
- Manage and maintain the systems and processes that enable management & security on the endpoints.
- Act as point of escalation for Level 3 support and major incidents, working with vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Interface with internal customers to provide support, training, and technical expertise for services provided and identify emerging technologies that may be applicable to the business.
- MECM/SCCM administration, software packaging, and deployment.
- Define standards for MECM/SCCM Distribution Points
- Qualify new hardware/software, build common image, coordinate package releases, endpoint protection.
- Review metrics associated to services provided and drive continual service improvements regardless of where the technology components, skills, or processes reside.
- Maintain documentation, including operational procedures, knowledge articles, user reference guides, and project plans.
- Perform system health checks and create test cases for new tools.
Qualifications:
- Troubleshooting of hardware and software in a large enterprise environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to work with onshore and offshore business units, and the ability to meet project deliverables with minimal user disruption
- Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority. Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork. Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans.
Software Packaging and Distribution:
- Manage MECM/SCCM including all aspects related to deployments, collections and Software OnDemand
- Expert knowledge with PowerShell.
- Manage ticketing system deployment queue and process deployment tickets, acting as point of escalation Interface with business on a regular basis to support requests
- Manage deployment schedule.
- Manage and remediate software vulnerabilities as they are reported by third party analysis tooling.
- Manage End of Life applications as they come due across the desktop estate.
- Routinely evaluate operation process and application configuration, recommending and implementing enhancements
- Strong Knowledge and experience with the deploying and administration of MECM/SCCM
