Job description

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join a growing software company and manage high-value accounts across Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in sales and account management, particularly within the software solutions sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with large enterprise clients, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will work closely with a portfolio of large enterprises, understanding their business needs and delivering software solutions. This is a remote position, but you will be expected to travel within Germany to meet clients as required.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage Key Accounts: Oversee and maintain strong relationships with large clients across Germany. Serve as the primary point of contact for these accounts.
  • Sales Growth & Retention: Develop strategies for driving growth within existing accounts, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and ensuring customer retention.
  • Tailored Solutions: Work closely with the technical and product teams to deliver software solutions that meet the unique needs of your clients.
  • Client Strategy: Collaborate with clients to develop long-term strategies that align with their business goals and objectives.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the client.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance and report on account health, providing insights and updates to leadership as necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as customer success, support, and product management to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.


Required Qualifications:



  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in key account management, enterprise sales, or a similar customer-facing role, ideally within the software solutions or technology sector.
  • Fluency: Strong proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Dynamic Personality: A self-starter with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software solutions, with the ability to engage in technical discussions and explain complex concepts in a business-friendly way.
  • Customer-Focused: Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with senior stakeholders in large organizations, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions and exceeding client expectations.
  • Business-Oriented: Ability to align sales strategies with business goals, demonstrate ROI, and drive long-term value for both clients and the company.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites within Germany.
