🧭 Navigating the position: Content Manager

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Content Manager. In this pivotal leadership position, you'll take charge of our content creation initiatives, overseeing and guiding a team of Content Developers who will report directly to you. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure the creation of high-quality content aligned with our business goals, foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, manage resources effectively, and be the driving force for innovation in our content development processes. This is your chance to make a significant impact in a leading maritime technology company.

🚢 Your Voyage Ahead

• Promoting Creativity: steer the path for content development team, instilling culture of high quality and excellence
• Content Development Execution: Oversee a content development execution, managing team of content developers, implementing best practices, metrics and quality standards in content creation process.
• Agile Methodology: Champion agile development methodologies in Content Development area and promoting adaptive planning.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Instructional designers, UX/UI, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into team’s strategy
• Continuous Improvement: Implement processes for continuous improvement in Content development area, including staying up-to-date with new trends and best practices in content development.
• Team Empowerment: Mentor and inspire your crew of Oceaneer’s, fostering a culture of creativity, and problem solving within the team.
  
  

🚢 Recommended to bring on board: 

• 6+ years of overall experience in Content Development with at least 3 years as a Content Manage and a strong commitment to high quality content.
• Strong understanding of content development processes.
• A firm grasp of tools (Storyline and/or Rise) and best practices, with a demonstrated experience in Agile development, underscoring a commitment to adaptive and efficient project management.
• Ability to design and implement new processes and strategies in content development area.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, essential for effective collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams.
• Robust problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills, critical for navigating complex challenges.
• Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience managing a team of content developers, including performance evaluation, motivation, and training. Monitor progress and manage priorities.
• Nice to have: prior experience working in e-learning, Adobe suite/video/3D knowledge.
