We are looking for a HR Operations Specialist (Payroll) who will collect and consolidate data for payroll calculation (without having to calculate it themselves) and assist employees with understanding their payments.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Work closely with HR, finance, and managers to make sure all employee information is accurate and up-to-date in the HRIS and payroll system, and that all supporting documents are provided.
  • Handle payroll data, including days/hours worked, bonuses, commissions, per diems, and deductions.
  • Review and approve payroll transactions to ensure accuracy before processing.
  • Collect, compile, and upload payroll-related data into the HRIS.
  • Address any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with payroll providers.
  • Assist the senior payroll specialist with calculations.


About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, payroll, or a related role.
  • Experience working with multiple countries payroll, payment services, and different types of contracts.
  • Proven experience in HR, payroll administration (is a plus) or a related field, with a solid understanding of payroll principles and practices.
  • Comfortable using payroll software and HRIS.
  • Excellent attention to details and accuracy.


Skills:

  • A good understanding of payroll processes to effectively collaborate with payroll providers in different countries.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Skilled in utilising Excel and Google Sheets formulas to perform calculations, analyse data, and automate tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Fluency in English.
