Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
On-site support as the Materials Integrator for field and depot level maintenance
Evaluate material availability daily by measuring part demands placed, part demands filled, available inventory, and part demands not filled. Evaluate and track trends in material replacement rates
Monitor the level of inventory and optimize inventory replenishment points to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved
Monitor part shipments and identify and resolve shipping delays and discrepancies
Process and load orders timely to replenish customer owned inventory to maintain appropriate levels that meet KPIs while meeting PBL cost and productivity targets
Process and load orders timely to provide parts to MROs to support engine and module shop visits
Monitor and record MRO part demands by engine and module repair work scope for each shop visit. Evaluate and track trends in depot overhaul factors.
Support the on-site PBL Business Leader and the Contract Performance Manager in forecasting and provisioning spare parts
Use a Lean mindset to identify waste and improve current processes. Learn and leverage Flightdeck to solve problems and drive solutions
Collaborate with US based supply chain and spares organization to clearly communicate customer requirements and expedite critical parts. Gather input to report material commitments to the customer
Proactively support the team as an advocate for the supply chain when reviewing parts availability and forecasts
Assist in the maintenance of all related part documentation to include export licensing and QA certification in accordance with applicable compliance requirements
Coordinate material transportation as required
Support program management requirements as they relate to spare part availability and inventory position
Perform other tasks as requested by the on-site PBL Business Leader.
The Ideal Candidate
Individual possesses 5+ years of aerospace/defense experience, working closely with shops on-site and providing quality customer support, ranging from technical maintenance, repair and overhaul efforts, to purchase order, RFQ, quality, forecasting and logistics/part delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, logistics or business from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma with a minimum 5+ of years of relevant experience)
Expertise with Microsoft Office Software to include Excel
Ability to gain and maintain secure access to Indian military installations
Fluent in both English and Hindi
Desired Characteristics
Military experience in logistics, supply, and sustainment
Lean Six Sigma Experience
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Established project management skill
Energetic and customer focused with experience building customer relationships
Experience in fleet management and logistics
Awareness of basic technical aspects of turbo shaft propulsion
