Job description

Ironclad is the #1 contract lifecycle management platform for innovative companies.  Every company, in every country, in every industry runs on contracts, but managing these contracts slows companies down and costs them millions of dollars. L’Oréal, Staples, Mastercard, and other leading innovators use Ironclad to collaborate and negotiate on contracts, accelerate contracting while maintaining compliance, and turn contracts into critical carriers of operational business intelligence. It’s the only platform flexible enough to handle every type of contract workflow, whether a sales agreement, an HR agreement or a complex NDA.

Ironclad is writing the narrative that shows how beautiful and functional contracting will change business. We’re a leader in the Forrester Wave for Contract Lifecycle Management. We have been recognized as a Fortune Great Place to Work for four consecutive years. Our innovation and work culture have been recognized by Glassdoor's Best Places to Work 2023, Forbes’ 50 Most Promising AI Companies, Wing Venture Capital's Enterprise Tech 30, and Gartner's Magic Quadrant. We work in a highly collaborative environment, and strive to foster a positive, inclusive culture.  We’re backed by leading investors like Accel, Y Combinator, Sequoia, and BOND. For more information, visit www.ironcladapp.com or follow us on LinkedIn and Twitter.

About this role:

Ironclad is transforming the contract drafting and negotiation process—enabling seamless collaboration, structured data tracking, and intuitive tools that empower non-legal teams to handle simple negotiations with confidence. By reducing legal bottlenecks, we help businesses close complex agreements faster while generating actionable data that fuels better decision-making.

We’re looking for a visionary Senior Staff Product Manager to define the future of contract negotiation and set the industry standard for Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM). This role requires a strategic thinker and executional powerhouse who can seamlessly navigate between high-level business strategy and technical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the future of Ironclad’s negotiation and document platforms, leveraging AI to drive superior customer and business outcomes.

  • Become the go-to industry expert on contract collaboration, editing, versioning, and review.

  • Make bold, strategic trade-offs that go beyond replicating existing solutions—Word has a 40-year head start on document editing; true innovation requires a smarter approach.

  • Deeply understand our users—often better than they understand themselves—through continuous research and feedback loops.

  • Partner closely with design and engineering to push the boundaries of simplicity and extensibility, both in the UI and under the hood.

  • Define and analyze key metrics that inform product prioritization, ensuring that every decision delivers measurable impact.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with a track record of delivering high-impact products.

  • Recognized as a collaborative and influential leader, capable of shaping strategy and driving impact beyond the scope of their program team(s)

  • Exceptional product sense and strategic thinking, with a knack for untangling complex systems.

  • Proven ability to take ambiguous problems from inception to successful product launch.

  • Experience defining and driving business-level strategy that aligns with company objectives.

  • Relentless curiosity and passion for understanding end users and their workflows.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to distill insights into action.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building collaborative editing and document tools.

  • Experience developing AI-powered products that enhance user experience and efficiency.

Benefits:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401k

  • Wellness reimbursement

  • Take what you need vacation policy

  • Generous parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers
