Description

The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage complex projects for our internal PMO, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress to ensure milestones are met.
  • Support in growing an internal PMO through setting standards and best practices.
  • Identify and manage risks, and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution with a focus on executive level status updates on cross functional projects. 
  • Manage project resources, budget, and timeline.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.
You Must Have
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with project management software, particularly Jira.

Pay Range Disclosure

Cobalt is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is ($105,000 - $133,000) per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.  The salary range may differ in other states and may be impacted by proximity to major metropolitan cities.
