KBR seeks an Account Executive for Federal Civilian (FedCiv) Growth to help manage and execute the FedCiv growth strategy for the Science & Space (S&S) Business. The FedCiv Account Executive will report to the Senior Director of FedCiv in S&S and help manage and execute the S&S federal civilian strategy and specific pursuits.

Responsibilities include collaborating with a team of senior business executives and business development analysts. The role focuses on front-end customer engagement, pipeline development, contract vehicle optimization, and market shaping activities during the pre-capture stage. The FedCiv Account Executive will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing pursuit teams, and preparing leadership for direct engagement with government customers. Emphasis is placed on acquiring and winning new business through a comprehensive understanding of the target markets, agencies, opportunities, customers, and competition, to introduce winnable programs into the KBR S&S pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Growth minded individual with a minimum 10 years’ experience with demonstrated success in managing federal government business development and customer relationship management related to agency accounts and pursuits in a varied contract portfolio valued greater than $500M.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a consultative sales model with senior business and government leaders to position and win new business.
  • Proven ability to create and execute account plans and strategies to enter new markets and win new programs.
  • Possess mastery of federal contract vehicles including GWAC vehicles such as Alliant, Oasis and GSA MAS.  Experience building pursuit teams, shaping client messaging and advising federal customers on use and selection of contract vehicles.
  • Proven successes reflecting the ability to grow the business with new business wins.
  • Strong skill in business writing and communication - both technical and non-technical
  • Familiarity and experience managing the pipeline and utilizing tools such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability and interpersonal skills to work with Executives and lead teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or a technical degree.
