About The Role
As a Business Development Associates (EBDA), you will play a foundational role in building relationships with new customers. Our BDAs are specialists in conducting in-depth research on prospects and finding innovative ways to set up meetings with our core customers, which are predominantly Environmental, Health, and Safety professionals. You are responsible for initiating quality sales conversations that ultimately lead to new business, helping to scale revenue at Encamp.
What You'll Do
Become highly proficient in environmental compliance and the industries you will target Partner with our Account Executives to build joint outreach strategies
Research target accounts and conduct highly personalized email and phone outreach
Qualify prospects and schedule high-quality meetings between our Account Executives and our target prospects
Generate prospect's interest by articulating the benefits of our environmental compliance platform
Partner with Marketing to deploy Account Based Sales / Account Based Marketing programs Help us iterate on our outbound prospecting playbook and run A/B testing on messaging that peaks customers’ attention
Leverage our extensive sales tech stack, track activity thoroughly in our CRM system, and document solid prospect background to ensure a high-quality transition into the sales process

Qualifications
1-2 years experience as a top-performing BDR/SDR
Motivation to be a self-starter who is constantly learning and experimenting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to influence others
Desire to be in a sales or customer-facing position for a technical product
Desire to work in a high-growth startup atmosphere in a remote-first setting

In transparency, the base salary for this position is $50,000-55,000/yr. Additionally, our performance-based incentive structure offers the potential to significantly increase your total compensation.
