Flipp's FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team supports strategic decision-making through proactive insights and business analysis. FP&A drives informed decision-making and sustainable growth to the organization by optimizing our financial performance. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with our FP&A tool implementation, maintaining the chart of accounts within the tool, managing the organizational department structure, and acting as a systems administrator for new users. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity across all systems and scalability for future growth.

What you'll get the opportunity to do:

Systems Implementation Support:

  • Assist in the successful implementation of the FP&A tool, ensuring the system is set up effectively to meet organizational needs and future scalability

Data Management & Integrity:

  • Maintain and manage the chart of accounts within the FP&A tool, ensuring that it accurately reflects the business structure and financial reporting requirements
  • Oversee the management of the organizational department structure within the FP&A tool, ensuring it aligns with the company’s evolving needs and financial reporting
  • Ensure data integrity across all systems, validating the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data used for reporting and analysis

Systems Administration & User Management:

  • Act as the systems administrator, managing new user setups, and providing support, and training to ensure efficient and effective use of the FP&A tool across the organization

Reporting, Dashboarding, & Visualization:

  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide clear, actionable insights to management and key stakeholders
  • Create dynamic, user-friendly visualizations to help communicate financial performance, trends, and forecasts effectively across different teams and departments
  • Continuously develop efficient reporting tools to support decision-making. Wherever possible, align and streamline the team’s processes, including ensuring that manual analysis drives value
What you'll bring to the team:
  • 2 years of experience in a relevant FP&A role
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, including Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to research and escalate issues.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
  • Preferred: Salesforce, Netsuite, and/or Adaptive experience
