About The Team
The North American Sales organization at Ivanti are building teams that understand the increasing complexity and sophisticated threats our enterprise customers face daily. Our mission is to adapt and anticipate the disparate needs of the modern workforce to automate the tasks that discover, manage, secure, and service all IT assets.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for Carrier segments, driving overall account acceleration.
- Collaborate with Ivanti Sales Reps to create and propose effective solutions to overcome customer challenges.
- Lead prospecting, enablement, and execution efforts to achieve joint sales goals with Carrier Solution Partners.
- Build senior-level relationships within the Carrier ecosystem to facilitate lead generation and nurture opportunities.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations while providing technical enablement for partner teams.
- Guide Ivanti and Carrier sales teams in executing joint sales strategies and supporting strategic opportunities.
- Oversee the launch of new Ivanti solutions within Carrier channels, ensuring effective engagement across verticals.
- Manage overall account planning, pipeline forecasts, and deliver internal business reviews to support organizational goals.
To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software sales, particularly in security or mobile solutions.
- Strong background in B2B channel management, specifically within Carrier, MSSP, or VAR channels.
- Proven ability to build and nurture senior-level relationships and effectively influence decision-making.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the capacity to convey technical information to both technical and business audiences.
- Results-driven mindset focused on achieving outcomes and strategic business goals.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage pipelines and forecasts accurately.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficient in using various sales and CRM tools to track leads and manage collaborations.
Roadmap for Success
- First 90 Days:
- Onboard and complete all required training sessions on Ivanti's products and solutions.
- Meet with key internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, and technical teams to understand current strategies and partnerships.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Carrier segment and its specific needs.
- Initiate one-on-one meetings with major Carrier partners to assess current relationships and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create a preliminary channel growth plan focused on quick wins and relationship-building activities.
- Conduct a competitive analysis within the Carrier partner landscape.
- Begin establishing a presence within the Carrier community through networking events and industry conferences.
- First 6 Months:
- Finalize and implement the channel growth plan, prioritizing high-potential Carrier partners.
- Drive and support lead generation initiatives, aiming for measurable targets in pipeline development.
- Facilitate training sessions for Carrier sales teams to enhance their ability to sell Ivanti solutions.
- Begin tracking and reporting on key performance metrics related to partner engagement and sales outcomes.
- Develop a formal feedback loop with Carrier partners to continuously optimize our collaboration and success.
- Launch at least one new Ivanti solution within a prominent Carrier partner's sales team.
- Attend and participate in two industry events or conferences to promote Ivanti's solutions within the Carrier community.
- First 12 Months:
- Review and analyze the outcomes of the channel growth plan, adjusting strategies based on performance data.
- Identify and initiate expansion opportunities with existing Carrier partners and scout for new partnerships.
- Build a robust reporting framework that details channel performance and overall business impact.
- Lead potential workshops and presentations to educate diverse audiences at Carrier partners about Ivanti solutions.
- Establish a mentorship or training program within the Carrier segment to foster stronger relationships and knowledge sharing.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly sales and growth targets established in collaboration with management and internal teams.
- Present a comprehensive review to executive leadership on progress made, key wins, and future strategic directions for the Carrier partnership.
