Job description

Work Flexibility: Remote

What You Will Do:

Cloud Infrastructure & Reliability Engineering

  • Architect, implement, and manage highly available cloud-native services and applications with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, FDA, and SOC2.

Automation & CI/CD Optimization

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and ensure seamless deployment processes with security gates and compliance checks.

Observability, Incident Management & Performance Optimization

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) for proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and capacity planning for cloud environments.
  • Participate in incident response and post-mortem reviews, driving improvements in system reliability and reducing MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution).

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

  • Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Software Engineering teams to ensure best practices in DevSecOps and cloud governance.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between cost, performance, and scalability when making architectural decisions.

What You Will Need:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Operations, focusing on Azure (preferred) or AWS.
  • Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Deep knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native application deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and artifact management (e.g., JFrog Artifactory).
  • Expertise in monitoring and logging solutions such as Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, or Azure Monitor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with serverless architectures (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda).
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust security models and DevSecOps integration.

$100k - $215k salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
