Job Summary
The Senior Compliance Analyst on the Corporate Governance & Compliance team is a key team member and supporter of the company’s Corporate Governance Program as well as the company’s Business Conduct Program (our Ethics and Code of Conduct program). Under the direction of the Director of Corporate Governance and Compliance (Director), supports all aspects of corporate governance operations, including coordinating with business leaders across the company on corporate governance matters, preparing board materials and subsidiary management. Assists with and helps coordinate ethics and code of conduct support to the enterprise, assisting the Director in the holistic program management. Responsible for assisting with activities related to the development, implementation and maintenance of the organization's policies and procedures covering the code of conduct, including related training, investigations, and mitigation.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
With the direction of the Director of Corporate Governance and Compliance, assist with the coordination of all aspects of the company’s corporate governance operations, including working with team members, senior leaders and other stakeholder with a focus on continuous improvement of the function.
With the direction of the Director of Corporate Governance and Compliance, assist with implementation and maintenance of key components of the corporate compliance and ethics program.
Assists the Director of Corporate Governance and Compliance with the implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the businesses’ activities comply with the applicable legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
Develop, maintain and provide training on company’s Guide to Business Conduct and related ethics-based policies and procedures. Coordinate updates to the Guide, related policies, training, and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, relevance and thoroughness.
Support and enhance processes and policies to identify and manage conflicts of interest and to support the corporate policies governance policy.
Support compliance initiatives and assist business partners in achieving statutory and regulatory compliance while maintaining The Standard’s favorable reputation with regulators, professional organizations, and competitors. Supports continuous improvement, effective risk management, and development of strong working relationships across the business and in the industry with compliance and legal professional peers to ensure consistent, top quality compliance services are delivered.
Support Compliance team members and key stakeholders in the development and implementation of metrics for measuring and tracking compliance, investigations, risk assessments, complaints, and mitigation efforts. Maintain and manage the EthicsPoint case management system to support routine reporting and root cause analysis.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, and monitor developments connected to corporate governance, code of conduct, ethics, and related topics. Keep abreast of pending regulatory developments.
Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required to deliver a best-in-class corporate governance program.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
Experience:
Five years of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience, in a corporate governance and/or compliance role, with working knowledge of applicable corporate governance and ethics requirements.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree.
Juris Doctorate or other relevant post-graduate degree or experience preferred.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
$74,500.00 - $108,750.00Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
