Job description

As we continue our rapid growth, The regional marketing manager is an integral business partner within the Risk Strategies regional structure, working closely with the leadership team to help successfully grow and expand our brand reach with our target clients.  We are looking to hire a highly skilled Regional Marketing Manager who will be responsible to understand the client and market dynamics within the western region, develop and execute successful marketing programs to build brand awareness and reputation.

The ideal candidate is a team player who will be comfortable working with the western regional leadership team, acquisition business leaders, and the corporate marketing team.  Risk Strategies is the 9th largest privately held broker and the individual should be comfortable working in an exciting, fast-paced sales environment, and loves to work in a growth environment where your efforts can make a meaningful difference. You will be part of the corporate marketing team but work closely with leadership, growth, and sales leaders. Attention to detail and the ability to both see the big picture and execute day-to-day priorities is a must.

Your Impact:

  • Business partner to the western leadership team, bringing marketing acumen and expertise. Will support the company’s growth strategy through regional sales and marketing programs that align with regional and corporate goals.
  • Build brand awareness and reputation as you oversee all aspects of marketing in the region including marketing content and campaigns, advertising, events, sponsorships, industry awards and recognition, etc.
  • Create, edit and maintain updated sales support materials including client presentations, proposals and RFPs that showcase the company’s value proposition.
  • Serve as the regional communications prime while ensuring alignment with the corporate communications strategy. Partner with corporate marketing and sales team to develop/execute marketing campaigns to promote our solutions, foster cross-sell opportunities and maintain visibility with clients.
  • Prime management of regional programs such as sponsorships, tradeshows, speaking engagements, webinars and other events through collateral, signage, digital campaigns, and social media promotion
  • Support new acquisitions as they integrate into the Risk Strategies family in the region with communications, branding, and other marketing programs. Integrate their marketing efforts into the company brand and regional marketing programs; coordinate internal and external regional communications with corporate marketing and regional leaders; support and reinforce company brand standards in all internal and external communications and materials.
  • Educate and support regional associates in building and maintaining an updated social media profile to promote the company’s specialist approach to risk.

Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field; 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in insurance or financial services industry
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively and professionally across multiple mediums including digital, social, and print
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with PowerPoint; and knowledge of marketing systems and social media platforms for business utilization, with LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Experience with HubSpot is a plus, experience with Smartsheet and other project management software preferred. Knowledge of traditional, digital, content, and social media marketing
  • Nimble, adaptable, deadline-driven and able to excel in a fast-changing growth environment.

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $90,000.00 - $115,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
