The Crown Is Yours

As a Strategic Customer Initiatives Specialist, you'll drive and execute new and existing customer initiatives that will have a material impact on the Customer Organization at DraftKings. In addition to driving projects, this role will proactively identify opportunities to define standard practices and develop affiliated playbooks. This role will support the Risk Detection Operations team within the Customer Organization, while partnering cross-functionally to deliver on goals.

What you’ll do as a Strategic Customer Initiatives Specialist
  • Drive and execute critical strategic initiatives identified to achieve goals.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and solve for dependencies, develop and execute on project plans and deliver on core goals.

  • Track and communicate decisions, progress, risks, issues, and retrospectives with project and leadership teams.

  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies within risk operations and proactively propose solutions. 

What you'll bring   
  • 4+ years of project management, journey lead within finance, technology, consulting or gaming industries.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with experience operating in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently and know when to seek guidance.

  • Can effectively partner cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Passion for driving results and demonstrating ultimate impact. 

  • Solid understanding of agile work methodologies and continuous improvement processes preferred.

  • Project management certification(s) preferred.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 83,200.00 USD - 104,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
