What You Will Achieve

You will help us in building our strength in artificial intelligence and analytics. You will be relied on to support the design, development, and management of AI solutions and products.

As a Senior Manager, your advanced knowledge of the principles and concepts in the discipline and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the organization. Your ability to develop and manage plans will facilitate in achieving objectives, interpreting internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices for improvements. While managing complex project environments, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve targets for the division.

How You Will Achieve It

• Front-end development using frameworks like React.js to implement responsive and accessible web applications.
• Collaborate with User Experience teams to design and deliver high-quality user experiences
• Design and develop API's using frameworks like FastAPI to provide reusable interfaces for customers within Pfizer to take advantage of AI services
• Architect solutions and services for scalability, security, and reliability
• Oversee and coordinate the work of software and services vendors
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members
• Enforce coding and testing standards to ensure solution quality
• Collaborate with customers to understand and address needs
• Participate in planning and scoping activities
• Monitor and report on progress while identifying and communicating risks

Qualifications

Must-Have

• BA/MS in STEM field.
• 10+ years of experience in a technical field or advanced degree plus experience.
• 7+ years working with software development (Front-end / Back-end) in a language such as Python (FastAPI experience preferred) or Javascript (React.js experience preferred)
• 7+ years of experience building and deploying scalable and secure production grade solutions
• 5+ years of project management or team leadership experience
• 5+ years providing code reviews in Python
• Experience designing and implementing Generative AI solutions.
• Demonstrative success in problem solving and critical thinking in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Hands-on experience in project management tools and agile development practices
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Strong communication and presentation skills; proven ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing requirements
• Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
