Halo Media is seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our dynamic team, building robust and scalable software infrastructure to support data handling, security, and server-side functionality.Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Implement and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct automated testing (RSpec, Capybara).
• Collaborate with design, product, and QA teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Troubleshoot and enhance application performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Ruby on Rails (3+ years).

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React or Vue.js is a plus).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with continuous deployment tools (Heroku, AWS, Docker is a plus).
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of DevOps and production deployment.

• Experience with integrating RESTful APIs.
